The Window of My Heart

With my hands clasped under my chin, my eyes settle on the vast ocean gazing out into a mysterious world. I hear the waves crashing against the rocks, and the smell of sea air permeates my senses. I am happy. I close my eyes and a vision of someone special enters into my thoughts, someone who captures my imagination and touches my soul. A warm feeling of contentment envelopes my being as I stand there mesmerized by the beauty I am already engulfed in. My eyes begin to twinkle at the thought of standing by the side of my someone special, holding his hand and trudging through the forest of life.

In my heart we grab onto whatever life brings us and we bring the best we can to life. Together we conquer the world and end up on top. It's a wonderful, safe feeling being with my someone special. I no longer feel alone, but I feel apart of something special.something with an inseparable bond that nothing and no one can tear apart. I know I can look up into the eyes of my someone special and find understanding and strength, and that no matter what twists life's road offers to me, I can take them on with the knowledge that my someone special is right there beside me helping to drive my destiny.

My someone special is my destiny and my soul. Thank you for being my someone special.I love you! There was a girl/woman who was peering through a broken window. She was afraid to reach out beyond the window for each time she did her hands came back cut and bloodied. So she continued gazing out through the cracks hoping to catch glimpses of the enchanted world that lie beyond. Occasionally, a casual stranger would walk by with a curiosity for what lay beyond the broken glass.

They would squeeze through and keep her company for awhile. The little girl/woman was so elated when she had a visitor that she poured out all the love she could give. But soon her friend would grow bored with the confines of her world, and would leave without bringing her with them or saying goodbye. She was so sad and alone again, unable to squeeze through the broken window herself. But one day a young man came into view, she longed for him to stop. He looked in the broken glass with wonderment of the mystery behind the shattered fragments.

So he stepped in. This girl/woman was afraid to be hurt again, but she longed for a soul mate, so she waited to see what would happen. The young man lingered, for he too had been looking for a someone to share his life with. He decided he would take this girl/woman on a life journey with him. He carefully picked her up, and carried her through the shattered glass of her world, into his. They both cried; for they knew they had finally found their kindred spirit.
